Water Heater Goes Off
Today was busy, busy, busy. I woke up to a cloudless sky and thought we would have a perfect day for hanging laundry. So I hung the things I washed last night and when my son woke up I put the linens in for a wash. By noon the sky was overcast and gray and stayed that way for the remainder of the day. The stuff hung out this morning was still damp at 8:30 tonight. The linens are all still on the line, but I just checked the weather and it says 80% chance of showers tomorrow. So I’ll go collect those.
Today I planted more transplants, that I thought were brussles sprouts, but some of them were actually cauliflower (I found the marker after transplanting) and now I don’t know what’s what. Oh well. If they survive we’ll eat them all. I also planted some popcorn seeds and transplanted some parsley. OH and I planted our apple tree and some potatoes. I still need to redo the stuff in the rodent bed, but I didn’t have any rodent defenses constructed yet, so no planting. We also harvested (and replanted) green onions for dinner.
Prepped/Stored – 10 gallons of water.
Tomorrow our first bulk order should be in! I’m excited and scared (what am I going to do with it?)
Today at 5:30 I turned the gas off to the hot water heater. Tonight the water was still warm. We will see how this works for us. I tried putting out the sun shower today and it did get kinda warm, until the grayness took over. Thats all for today.
